Katniss and Peeta go through the interview. They try not to say anything bad they have been told that the capitol is mad at them for attempting suicide. After the interview they get on a train go home. Katniss doesn’t know if she loves Gale of Peeta. She doesn’t want to let go of Peeta’s hand.

Peeta and Katniss get picked up and are sent back to the training center. They are getting prepped up again and Peeta is getting his leg worked on. They then have to get in more outfits for another interview.

Muttations!!!! Cato is running from Mutated Wolves. He grabs Peeta and chokes him. If Katniss shoots him then they will both fall into the wolves. So, she shoots ato in the hand. He falls into the wolves. He is eaten alive. Next the announcer says that there can only be 1 victor so Katniss and Peeta must fight. So they take out some of the poisin berries and are goinh to kill themselves but the announcer stops them and says they both won.

Chapter 24

Chapter 24, the final showdown begins. Peeta and Katniss go back to the cave to rest. next they go to the pools of water and find they are dry. So they go to the lake. They know Cato will be there. When they get there they see Cato running after them. He runs past them. They notice he has on body armor. He is running from something.

Katniss and Peeta dig into their feast. Later they hear from the announcer that Thresh has died. Katniss gets well enogh to go hunt. The y go hunting. Katniss has Peeta gather roots to eat. Next, she can’t find Peeta. He comes back from the stream he has been gathering berries. He had set them all in a pile. They notice that some of the cheese has been eaten. Next they hear the cannon symbolizing that someone has died. It was Foxface. The berries that Peeta was gathering were poisoness. Foxface ate them and died.

Katniss wakes up and Finds that Peeta is all better. Know the tables have turned. He must take care of her. Rue’s districts sends the, some bread and they eat. They once again give the audience a show with their love. This time Haymitch sends them a feat for putting on a show.

Chapter 21

Chaper 21, Katniss goes to the feast to get the medicine for Peeta. She runs down to the table to get the backpack and gets knives thrown at her 1 gashes her forehead open. Clove, from Cato’s team, jumps on top of Katniss. Thresh, another contestant, kills clove and lets Katniss go. She hs the medicine. She makes it back to the cave. She gives Peeta the medicine while he sleeps.

Chapter 20

Chapter 20 is when Katniss and Peeta start to actually fall in love. Katniss cares for Peeta while he is healing and they talk about times at home. Next, The gmemakers invite the contestants to a feast. They say that if they come there will be backpacks and they will hold something that each team really needs. Katniss knows Peeta’s time is short if he doesn’t get some more medicine. She gets another package it is medicine to knock out Peeta. She puts it in berries and feeds it too him. It knocks him out. Know Katniss can go to the feast to get the medicine for Peeta.

Chapter 19

Chapter 19 is when the real games start. Katniss goes to find Peeta. Shes knows he is wounded because she heard Cato say it. She goes to the lake and finds him laying on the ground at the verge of death. She treats his wounds. They find a cave to go to for shelter. Katniss kisses Peeta. This causes another package to fall from the sky. It is a pot of hot broth.

Chapter 18

Chapter 18 is the sadest chaper. Katniss kills the contestant who killed Rue. She covers rue with flowers. I can not even imagine what it would be like to lose a close friend. Katniss takes her supplies and climbs a tree. Next there is a voice in the sky. It tells all the contestants that the rules have changed. That 2 people from a district can when.
